New Delhi (Gurpreet Singh): Cockroach Janta Party Founding President Abhijeet Dipke has affirmed that the ongoing demonstration at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar will continue unabated, despite the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Addressing press members and fellow agitators at the protest venue, Dipke stressed that while the minister’s departure addresses a fundamental concern, the broader agitation will persist under democratic norms until full accountability and financial restitution are achieved for affected families.
Outlining the movement’s remaining priorities, Dipke presented two non-negotiable demands to the central government. He insisted on an immediate compensation of one crore rupees for every family who lost a child to suicide amid recent national exam paper leak controversies. Furthermore, Dipke called for prompt legal and disciplinary proceedings against police personnel involved in the crackdown on student demonstrators on July 20, warning authorities against attempts to stifle peaceful youth mobilization.
The continued standoff at Jantar Mantar underscores sustained public friction surrounding examination governance and civil rights. With student organizations maintaining a firm presence in the capital, leaders like Abhijeet Dipke emphasize that systemic reforms, official restitution, and police accountability remain essential prerequisites before any formal end to the agitation will be considered.
