CHCC BC Monthly Meeting Strengthens Business and Community Connections

Surrey (Richa Walia): The Canadian Hindu Chamber of Commerce (CHCC) BC Chapter hosted its monthly meeting and business networking get-together, bringing together entrepreneurs, professionals, community leaders and members for an evening centered on business connections, community building and knowledge sharing.

The gathering highlighted the important role of strong relationships within the business community. Entrepreneurs and professionals had the opportunity to introduce their businesses, exchange ideas, explore potential collaborations and build connections that can contribute to long-term professional growth.

A key part of the evening was a legal information session by Ashish Manral, Lawyer, who shared information about legal rights and explained how the law works in British Columbia. The session provided attendees with practical information and an opportunity to ask questions about legal matters relevant to individuals and businesses.

The event also created an opportunity for members of the business community to engage directly with candidates participating in the upcoming 2026 elections. Municipal candidates in attendance included Manu Sharma and Shina Vermani from Surrey; Mithila Karnik from Port Coquitlam; Neha Unadkat and Ragina Naidu from Burnaby; Madhavee Inamdar from Coquitlam; and Pawan Joshi from Delta.

Provincial MLA candidates also attended, including Shubham Joshi from Langley–Willowbrook, Tanya Gupta from Surrey North, and Gaurav Dhankar. The candidates introduced themselves, interacted with attendees and sought support during their respective campaigns.

For CHCC, the gathering reflected the organization’s broader objective of bringing business, community and professional networks together under one platform. Such meetings provide entrepreneurs with opportunities not only to expand their professional networks, but also to share experiences, identify common challenges and strengthen connections across different communities and industries.

The evening demonstrated how business networking can extend beyond exchanging business cards — creating a space for knowledge, collaboration, mentorship, community participation and meaningful dialogue.

CHCC BC Chapter continues to welcome entrepreneurs, professionals and business leaders to participate in its monthly meetings and networking events, helping build a stronger and more connected business community across British Columbia.
