Canada : Transport to increase screening for travellers to India

Canada | Federal Transport Minister Anita Anand says that, out of an abundance of caution, her ministry will be increasing security measures for people travelling to India. Transport Canada has implemented temporary additional security screening measures, for travellers to India, Anand said in a news statement. Passengers may experience some screening delays while these measures are in place. 50 year old man killed in truck pileup on Hwy. 1 east of Calgary

Canada | A man is dead after a pileup on Highway 1 east of Calgary. Emergency crews were called to the westbound lanes of Highway 1, between Highway 842 and Highway 56, just east of Cluny before for a multi-vehicle collision. Mounties said they were getting reports of more than 12 vehicles involved and later confirmed the crash was between a pick-up truck and several commercial semi-trucks.
