Chandigarh | The Punjab Vigilance Bureau during its ongoing campaign against corruption in the state, has arrested Jaswinder Singh, a clerk posted in the office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths, Civil Surgeon, Hoshiarpur, for possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. An official spokesperson for the Punjab VB said the arrest followed a thorough investigation stemming from a vigilance inquiry.
