The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, held talks with the Polish Prime Minister, Donald Tusk, in which they discussed defense assistance and bilateral collaboration, according to the Presidential press service. Zelensky characterized the negotiations as highly productive, highlighting a new form of cooperation involving an expanded scale of arms acquisitions through a Polish loan for Ukraine. He also mentioned discussions about potential joint arms production in the future. The leaders addressed the situation along their shared border, as well as cooperation in the energy sector and investment collaboration. Tusk had arrived in Kiev earlier on Monday.
