Gurpreet Singh :- Seven personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force were injured on Saturday after their bulletproof bunker vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a canal in the Dagpora area of Srinagar. The accident took place along the Umar Hayer–Dagpora Road in Ahmed Nagar when the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and plunge into the water canal. Rescue teams rushed to the spot immediately and shifted all the injured jawans to the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS), Soura, for medical treatment. Chandigarh, Amritsar :- The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a chargesheet against nine police personnel before a district court in Chandigarh in connection with the kidnapping case of prominent dentist Dr. Mohit Dhawan.   The chargesheet reveals that the policemen first kidnapped Dr. Dhawan and later, when the investigation widened, they allegedly lost or destroyed their mobile phones to avoid being caught and to prevent electronic evidence from being recovered. Amritsar, Gurpreet Singh :- A major terror attack bid was thwarted in Punjab's Amritsar district after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was recovered from behind the Rayya police post in the wee hours of Saturday.   The conspiracy to blow up police post under the jurisdiction of Beas police station was foiled by the Punjab Police.  The device was safely defused by a bomb disposal squad, preventing what officials described as a potentially devastating attack.
