Chandigarh, April 18: Haryana Police has intensified its road safety campaign and issued a total of 10,13,422 challans for traffic rule violations in the first quarter of 2025 (January 1 to March 31). This initiative by the police is a commendable step toward encouraging traffic rule compliance and reducing road accidents across the state.According to data received from Police Headquarters, out of the total challans issued, 5,63,485 were through CCTV cameras, 4,49,931 via e-challan machines, and only 6 challans were issued manually.
