Smith encouraged Albertans to spend the holiday connecting with family and friends, volunteering in their communities or taking time for personal reflection. She expressed hope that the Thanksgiving weekend would bring residents a sense of gratitude, happiness and togetherness.

Concluding her message, the premier wished Albertans a safe and happy Thanksgiving, extending greetings to families across the province on behalf of herself and her family.
