Calgary (Rajeev Sharma): Calgary is gearing up for a vibrant celebration of the festival of lights as Diwali Gala Night 2026 brings together music, dance, cultural performances and community spirit on Sunday, November 1, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. at Rio Banquet Hall.
Event information was shared by Gaurav Srivastava, who highlighted the evening’s entertainment lineup featuring AuroRoots live band, DJ Varun (DJ V2), singers Gursharn and Arijita, along with performances by Gurukul Dance Studio, Nrityangan Dance Academy and YYC Gidha and Folk.

Early-bird tickets, available until September 30, are priced at $45 for adults and $35 for children aged 6–12. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. The gala is expected to provide Calgary families and the wider community an evening of music, cultural expression, celebration and connection as Diwali approaches.
