Vancouver (Rajeev Sharma): Two Indian students have died in a tragic aviation accident in Canada while undergoing flight training, according to the Consulate General of India in Vancouver.
The deceased have been identified as Manoj Sivakumar from Tamil Nadu and Srisaran Thirugnanasambantham from Puducherry. Both were in Canada for flight training when the accident occurred.
The Indian Consulate in Vancouver expressed condolences to the families, describing the incident as a tragic loss. In a message shared on social media, the mission said it was prepared to provide all possible consular assistance to the bereaved families.
The Consulate also said it would assist with arrangements related to bringing the students’ mortal remains back to India.
The deaths have left the families and loved ones of the two students mourning the loss. Further details regarding the circumstances of the air accident and the ongoing investigation are awaited.
