Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will lead a high-level investment outreach delegation to Mumbai on August 23 and 24 to showcase the state’s expanding industrial landscape and attract domestic and global investors. The two-day roadshow serves as a major preparatory milestone for the upcoming “Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit 2.0,” scheduled for April 2027. The Chief Minister will be accompanied by Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, Commissioner and Secretary of the Industries Department Dr. Amit Kumar Agarwal, and senior administrative officials.
The primary objective of the outreach initiative is to mobilize fresh capital investments, accelerate industrial growth, encourage advanced technology adoption, and generate high-quality employment opportunities for youth, reinforcing Haryana’s contribution toward the national “Viksit Bharat 2047” vision. On August 23, the delegation will engage with the Pravasi Haryanvi diaspora and industry leaders during an interactive dinner session featuring cultural presentations and an audio-visual showcase highlighting the state’s developmental journey.
On August 24, Saini will address an investors’ conference and hold dedicated business-to-business meetings with prominent industrialists, private equity executives, and venture capital representatives. The sessions will outline key sector opportunities, policy frameworks, and upcoming summit initiatives, culminating in the exchange of strategic memoranda of understanding. The delegation will spotlight priority growth sectors, including electric vehicles and mobility, semiconductors, data centres, artificial intelligence, pharmaceuticals, global capability centres, and green energy.
Highlighting the state’s strategic advantages, officials emphasized that approximately 57 percent of Haryana’s territory falls within the National Capital Region, offering superior road, rail, air, and freight connectivity. The state has implemented a digital single-window clearance mechanism alongside 11 new sectoral policies to streamline approvals and facilitate enterprise setup. Saini noted that Haryana has already secured investment proposals exceeding ₹1.10 lakh crore, affirming that the Mumbai initiative aims to convert investor interest into long-term partnerships and major industrial projects.
