Haryana ITI Admissions 2026: ‘On the Spot’ Counselling Begins for Vacant Seats Across State Institutes

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): The Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training, Haryana, has commenced the “on the spot” admission counselling process for vacant seats across all government and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) for the 2026–27 academic session. To fill the remaining seats, the department has invited fresh online applications through its designated admission portal. Seat allotment will be conducted directly at the institutional level based on a combined merit list of both new and previously registered applicants, without any reservation criteria applied during this special round.

According to a departmental spokesperson, eligible candidates are required to submit their merit cards at their respective ITI campuses by 12:00 noon daily. Applicants must physically report to the designated institutions along with their downloaded merit cards and original verification documents to finalize their enrollment and pay the mandatory admission fees online immediately upon seat confirmation.

Candidates can check the institution-wise and trade-wise vacancy status directly through the central admission portal. The department reiterated that all other terms, conditions, and eligibility guidelines outlined in the official 2026–27 admission prospectus will remain strictly applicable throughout the spot round proceedings.
