Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): The Haryana Shehri Vikas Pradhikaran has introduced the “Vivadon Se Samadhan Scheme 2026” to provide major financial relief to plot holders facing long-pending disputes over enhancement charges. The one-time settlement scheme offers a key opportunity for allottees who missed out on previous resolution frameworks, covering nearly 4,924 beneficiaries across 103 sectors with a total rebate exceeding Rs 724 crore.
According to an official spokesperson, the initiative applies to allottees of residential plots, floor-wise registrations, group housing societies, institutional sites, and industrial properties. Eligible beneficiaries can review their calculated rebate amount by logging into the official portal using their unique plot identification number and credentials, with local estate offices also providing in-person and digital assistance.
The authority has designated December 31, 2026, as the final deadline to claim the benefits of this settlement framework. The urban development body issued a stern warning that defaulting allottees who fail to clear their pending liabilities within the stipulated timeframe will face strict legal proceedings, including the formal resumption and repossession of their allotted plots under statutory rules.
