Haryana to Host ‘Happening Haryana’ Investor Roadshow in Mumbai on August 23-24

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): The Haryana government will host the “Happening Haryana” roadshow in Mumbai on August 23 and 24 to attract domestic and international investments to the state, Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh announced on Monday. The initiative aims to showcase the state’s industrial potential, modern infrastructure, and business-friendly policy ecosystem to leading industry leaders in the country’s financial capital.

The roadshow forms a key component of the state’s broader strategy to align with the central government’s vision of Viksit Bharat-2047. Key state departments have formulated the Haryana Vision Document-2030 to draft a comprehensive growth roadmap, which is being directly monitored by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini.

Highlighting recent policy updates, the minister noted that the state has revised its industrial framework and introduced a new Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises policy targeting Rs 55 lakh crore in investment and the creation of 500,000 jobs by 2030. Following the roadshow, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will interact directly with investor delegations in Chandigarh on August 27 to discuss memorandums of understanding and implementation support.

Delegates at the Mumbai event will also be briefed on major industrial infrastructure projects, including ten upcoming Industrial Model Townships and five new planned cities being developed along the 135-kilometre Kundli-Manesar-Palwal Expressway by the Panchgram Development Authority. The minister emphasized that Haryana’s strategic location in the National Capital Region, combined with expanding road, rail, and air networks, provides a competitive landscape for industrial growth and employment generation.
