Chandigarh (Nalwinder Singh): Haryana Agriculture, Farmers’ Welfare, Fisheries, and Animal Husbandry Minister Shyam Singh Rana laid the foundation stone for a new Primary Health Centre in Alahar village, situated in the Radaur assembly constituency of Yamunanagar district. The healthcare facility, estimated to cost 5.63 crore rupees, will span approximately one and a half acres of land. The project aims to enhance rural medical accessibility by bringing essential healthcare services directly to local residents and surrounding rural communities.
Speaking during the foundation stone ceremony, Minister Shyam Singh Rana emphasized that the primary goal of the state government is to deliver timely, accessible, and high-quality healthcare to every citizen. He noted that the establishment of the health centre will benefit thousands of villagers across the region, eliminating the need to travel long distances for primary medical attention. He highlighted ongoing state-wide initiatives led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to upgrade rural health infrastructure, construct modern medical centres, and equip facilities with updated diagnostic resources.
The Minister also encouraged community members to integrate yoga into their daily routines to maintain personal wellness and physical resilience. Reaffirming his dedication to the comprehensive development of the Radaur constituency, he stated that improving core infrastructure across agriculture, healthcare, and public utilities remains a top administrative focus. Senior health officials, local administrative engineers, and prominent community representatives attended the official ceremony.
