Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini addressed the Mewat Vikas Sankalp Rally at Punhana in Nuh district, declaring that Mewat is emerging as a focal point of growth, trust, and transformation. Highlighting the state’s transparent governance under the double-engine administration, the Chief Minister stated that the region is witnessing notable progress across road infrastructure, education, healthcare, drinking water supply, and youth employment. He paid tribute to Shaheed Hasan Khan Mewati and reiterated that the developmental vision of a self-reliant India relies on integrating every region, including Mewat, into mainstream progress.

During his address, Chief Minister Saini criticized previous opposition administrations for neglecting the area and failing to deliver transparent recruitment processes for the youth. He contrasted past irregularities with his government’s merit-based employment model, noting that over two lakh youth have secured government jobs without illicit payments or recommendations over the past twelve and a half years, including 1,494 candidates recently selected under the Mewat teacher cadre. The Chief Minister also highlighted systemic initiatives such as the Haryana Overseas Employment Cell, skill training programs for international employment, and legal measures curbing illegal immigration networks.
Addressing regional industrial growth, Haryana Industry and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh emphasized the state’s policy of equitable regional development without discrimination. He detailed ongoing efforts to bring industrial clusters to the Mewat region, including IMT Sohna, to generate local employment and technical skill training for the youth. Organised by Chaudhry Javed Khan, the rally featured addresses from Rajasthan MLA Nauksham Chaudhary and local leaders who supported master planning and educational expansion in Punhana.
