Jind (Balwinder Singh)— Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini arrived in Jind on Thursday to personally inspect the logistical arrangements and security preparations ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit. During the visit on Friday, the Prime Minister will officially flag off India’s first hydrogen-powered train, marking a historic leap toward sustainable green mobility and clean rail transport in the country. Chief Minister Saini emphasized that the high-profile launch and its associated events are structured to be entirely eco-friendly, aligning with the national vision for environmental conservation.
The Chief Minister commenced his inspection at Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, where he met with senior administrative officials to review the sector-wise seating frameworks, executive lounges, and guest entry points. Saini then moved to the Jind Railway Station to assess the technical readiness of the hydrogen train, examining the tracks, cafeteria facilities, and direct passenger amenities to ensure a seamless experience for visitors. Accompanied by a delegation of top bureaucrats and state ministers, the Chief Minister instructed the local administration to ensure strict compliance with high safety standards and eco-conscious protocol during the operational rollout.
Following his station visit, Chief Minister Saini inspected the Haryana Urban Development Authority grounds located opposite the Eklavya Stadium, which will serve as the venue for the “Viksit Bharat-Viksit Haryana” public rally. He evaluated the public parking plots, continuous security cordons, and essential public utilities, ordering special provisions for ample drinking water and seamless crowd movement to manage the heavy expected turnout without public inconvenience.
The inspection ceremony was attended by prominent state dignitaries, including Public Works Department Minister Ranbir Singh Gangwa, Punjab Haryana Assembly Deputy Speaker Dr. Krishan Lal Middha, BJP State President Dr. Archana Gupta, Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi, and Director General of Police Ajay Singhal. Local lawmakers, university officials, and senior representatives from the Information, Public Relations, and Languages Department were also present to coordinate the final logistical touchpoints ahead of the landmark national project launch.
