Calgary (Rajeev Sharma): The internationally popular traveling dinosaur exhibition Jurassic Quest is set to roar into Calgary, offering a family-focused immersive experience from June 19 to June 21 at the BMO Centre, Calgary Stampede grounds.
The event, known as North America’s largest and most realistic dinosaur experience, will feature life-size animatronic dinosaurs, including towering species such as Spinosaurus, Apatosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus Rex, designed to create a realistic prehistoric environment for visitors of all ages. Organizers say highlights of the attraction include interactive walking dinosaur rides, fossil displays featuring real prehistoric artifacts such as T. rex teeth and Triceratops horns, and hands-on educational zones aimed at engaging children and families.
Visitors will also be able to explore interactive experiences such as baby dinosaur encounters, a raptor training show, bounce houses, fossil dig activities, crafts, and themed adventure challenges designed as part of the “Quest” experience. The exhibition also includes designated play zones for younger children, including soft-play areas, along with photo opportunities and educational sessions led by dinosaur-themed guides and trainers. Families are encouraged to book tickets in advance due to limited availability and expected high demand during the three-day event.
