Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini Declares CM Office and Residence Open 24/7 for Public Service

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Emphasizing a deep commitment to social welfare and public accessibility, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the Chief Minister’s office and residence remain open round the clock for everyday citizens. Speaking as the chief guest at the Saini Mahasammelan organized by the Saini Samaj Welfare Committee in Rajpura, Punjab, Chief Minister Saini assured that no effort would be spared in protecting individual rights and executing impactful policy reforms. During the convention, the Chief Minister was accorded a warm welcome by the committee leaders, and he subsequently honoured several prominent social workers with ceremonial shawls for their contributions to community development.

Addressing the large gathering, Chief Minister Saini called upon the community to actively participate in political and social spheres to strengthen both society and the nation, noting that an empowered citizenry is vital to making Punjab prosperous. He stressed that communities must transition from being mute spectators to taking leading, decisive roles across all democratic pillars, from local Panchayats to the Vidhan Sabha and Parliament. Launching a sharp political critique, Saini accused the ruling Aam Aadmi Party in Punjab of misleading voters with unfulfilled promises, contrasting their governance with the Union government’s proactive welfare model that successfully pulls vulnerable sections into the mainstream of national development.

The Chief Minister detailed a series of major historical, cultural, and welfare initiatives undertaken by the double-engine administration to support regional growth and secure social justice. He highlighted that the Haryana government grandly celebrated the 350th Prakash Purv of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, establishing a dedicated academic chair at Sirsa University and naming major infrastructure checkpoints, forests, and polytechnics across Faridabad, Yamunanagar, and Ambala in his honour. Furthermore, Saini noted that a government agricultural college is being rapidly constructed in Chhachhrauli under the Guru’s name. On social rehabilitation, the Chief Minister revealed that the government has provided secure government jobs to the victim families of the 1984 riots, alongside delivering free dialysis treatment across all state hospitals. Out of 217 election commitments made by the BJP, 63 have already been completely fulfilled, with active work fast-tracked on another 157 promises.

Turning his focus to economic and agricultural security, Chief Minister Saini underlined robust price support mechanisms where all local crops are bought at the Minimum Support Price, with vegetables and potatoes integrated under the Bhavantar Bharpai Yojana to insulate farmers from market volatility. The state also provides a highly subsidized 500-rupee gas cylinder for women, a 2,100-rupee direct financial aid transfer, and an 8,000-rupee subsidy for farmers adopting crop diversification. Social security pensions for the elderly, widows, and specially-abled individuals are seamlessly disbursed on the 10th of every month. For regional connectivity, Saini announced that the central government has approved the construction of the Mohali-Rajpura rail bypass at an estimated cost of 1,400 crore rupees, alongside investing 7,500 crore rupees to open new transit routes in Punjab, which is projected to generate sustainable employment for over 64,000 youths and expand modern civic infrastructure.
