Dhillon Calls on BJP Leaders to Begin Preparations for Punjab Assembly Polls

Gurpreet Singh :- Newly appointed Punjab BJP president Keval Singh Dhillon on Saturday met senior party leaders, including National Executive member and former minister Manoranjan Kalia, as part of his outreach programme following his appointment to the top organisational post in the state.

Addressing party functionaries, Dhillon urged BJP leaders and workers to start preparing for the upcoming Punjab Assembly elections, asserting that the party was aiming to form the next government in the state with a clear majority. He called upon the cadre to strengthen grassroots engagement and intensify political activities in their respective constituencies.

Several BJP leaders, including Rakesh Rathore and Ashok Sareen, were present during the meeting. Discussions reportedly focused on organisational strengthening and the party’s strategy for the elections scheduled next year.

Dhillon is expected to continue meeting party leaders across Punjab in the coming days as part of efforts to consolidate the organisation and energise the cadre ahead of the electoral battle.

The BJP leadership recently appointed Keval Singh Dhillon as the party’s Punjab unit chief, replacing Sunil Jakhar.
