Haryana Government Notifies Seven New Sector-Specific Policies to Drive Industrial Growth

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): The Department of Industries and Commerce of the Haryana Government has officially notified seven new sector-specific policies aimed at boosting industrial development, attracting global investments, and creating large-scale employment opportunities for the youth in the state. According to the official notification released on Friday, these strategic regulatory frameworks target emerging and high-growth sectors, establishing Haryana as a preferred destination for domestic and international businesses.

The freshly implemented policy lineup features the Haryana Electronics System Design and Manufacturing Policy 2026, the Haryana Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Manufacturing Policy 2026, the Haryana Toy and Sports Equipment Manufacturing Policy 2026, and the Haryana Electronic Waste Recycling Policy 2026. Additionally, the government has introduced the Haryana Global Capability Centre Policy 2026, the Haryana IT/ITeS, AI and Emerging Technology Policy 2026, and the Haryana AVGC-XR Policy 2026, creating a comprehensive support mechanism for both traditional manufacturing and cutting-edge tech ecosystems.

All seven industrial policies are structured to remain operational for a tenure of five years. State authorities expect that this targeted policy push will significantly reinforce the regional industrial infrastructure, foster a robust culture of corporate innovation, and draw major fiscal investments into the state, ultimately bolstering Haryana’s economic landscape over the coming years.
