Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh): Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini paid a surprise visit to the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Sector-3 on Monday to personally inspect the ongoing physical measurement test (PMT) organized for state police recruitment. Conducted under the supervision of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission, the administrative drive processes approximately 3,000 candidates daily. The Chief Minister interacted directly with the aspirants and their accompanying family members to gather first-hand feedback regarding the logistics, security, and medical arrangements set up at the venue.
During his interaction with the applicants, Saini emphasized that the state administration has executed comprehensive, candidate-friendly measures to ensure that the entire assessment process remains transparent and highly systematic. To accommodate the heavy daily influx of candidates, the local administration has set up dedicated rest zones equipped with proper seating arrangements at the main entrance gates alongside secure baggage counters. The candidates expressed immense enthusiasm over the Chief Minister’s presence, with several clicking photographs and selfies with him as he extended his best wishes for their upcoming career evaluations.
The visiting families and recruitment aspirants lauded the direct oversight, describing the executive inspection as a sensitive and encouraging gesture that boosts the morale of young job seekers. The field inspection concluded with the Chief Minister reviewing security parameters with high-level district authorities. Notable dignitaries present during the stadium inspection included Deputy Commissioner Satpal Sharma, Deputy Commissioner of Police Srishti Gupta, and executive members of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
