Banke Bihari Temple Appeals to Devotees to Avoid Vrindavan Till 5 January Due to Heavy Crowd Rush

Vrindavan (Gurpreet Singh) : The management of the renowned Shri Banke Bihari Temple has issued a joint public advisory urging devotees to avoid visiting Vrindavan and the temple till 5 January, unless absolutely necessary. The appeal has been made in view of the expected massive influx of pilgrims during the New Year period, which often leads to extreme congestion in and around the temple.

According to temple authorities, the narrow lanes surrounding the Banke Bihari Temple make crowd movement difficult during peak days. With lakhs of devotees arriving from different parts of the country, managing safety, darshan arrangements, and emergency services becomes a major challenge.

The temple management stated that the advisory is not a restriction but a precautionary request, aimed at ensuring the safety and convenience of devotees and maintaining law and order in the holy town. Visitors have been asked to plan their darshan after 5 January to avoid discomfort caused by long queues and overcrowding.

Local administration and police are also on alert, but officials believe that public cooperation is essential to prevent overcrowding and potential mishaps during the peak festive period.

Devotees are requested to follow the advisory in the larger interest of safety and smooth management and to seek blessings of Thakur Shri Banke Bihari Ji on alternative dates.
