Dehradun, November 27, 2025 — Uttarakhand Governor Gurmit Singh on Thursday unveiled two books that highlight the life, personality and administrative work of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. The launch event at Raj Bhavan brought together authors, officials and literary personalities.
The first book presents a detailed account of Dhami’s early years, his political rise and the milestones that shaped his path to becoming Chief Minister. The second book focuses on his governance style, initiatives and contributions to the state’s development. The Governor praised both works, noting that they capture Dhami’s commitment to public service and offer readers a deeper understanding of his leadership.
Governor Singh said documenting the life and work of prominent leaders helps preserve important chapters of the state’s political and cultural evolution. He added that such books will serve as valuable reference points for future generations.
The event concluded with appreciation for the authors’ efforts and reflections on the growing interest in literature that documents contemporary political figures.
