Chandigarh, October 23: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini chaired a review meeting to assess the progress of various tourism projects in the state, including the much-awaited ropeway project at the famous Dhosi Hill in Mahendragarh district. The Chief Minister directed officials to expedite all pending projects and ensure their timely completion.
The meeting, held under CM Saini’s chairmanship, focused primarily on the Dhosi Hill Ropeway Project. Tourism and Heritage Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma also joined the meeting virtually.
Chief Minister Saini stated that the Haryana government is committed to giving global recognition to the state’s tourism destinations. He emphasized that tourism is not merely a source of entertainment but also a key driver of local development, job creation, and cultural preservation.
Officials informed that the Dhosi Hill Ropeway Project is being developed at an estimated cost of ₹57 crore and aims to transform the region into a world-class tourist destination. The proposed ropeway will span around 870 meters, significantly improving access to Dhosi Hill and attracting both domestic and international tourists. This initiative is expected to boost tourism not only in Dhosi but also at other historical landmarks in Mahendragarh.
