Rao Tula Ram Remembered as Symbol of Courage on Haryana Veer and Shaheedi Diwas

Chandigarh, September 23 — Tributes poured in across Rewari district on Tuesday as leaders and dignitaries remembered freedom fighter Rao Tula Ram on Haryana Veer and Shaheedi Diwas.

At the Shaheed Rao Tula Ram Chowk and Shaheed Smarak Park in Rewari, Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh, Haryana Health and AYUSH Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao, Rewari MLA Laxman Singh Yadav, Bawal MLA Dr. Krishan Kumar, Kosli MLA Anil Yadav, Pataudi MLA Bimla Chaudhary, and BJP district president Vandana Popli offered floral tributes to the iconic freedom fighter. Similar tributes were also paid in Rampura village.

Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh described Rao Tula Ram as a guiding inspiration for the nation, calling him a valiant son of India whose sacrifice remains an eternal source of pride. He emphasized that the legacy of freedom fighters and soldiers continues to instill patriotism in the youth.

Health Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao echoed these sentiments, stating that Rao Tula Ram was not only the pride of the region but of the entire nation. She said the path shown by such heroes inspires governments to work with dedication for development and public welfare.

The ministers highlighted the unmatched contribution of Haryana’s soldiers, noting that every tenth soldier in the Indian armed forces hails from the state, with Rewari district making the highest contribution.

The dignitaries urged the youth to take inspiration from the glorious history of India’s martyrs and contribute to the service of the nation.
