National Times Bureau :- In a tragic incident near Sohian Kalan village, Ramdas area of Amritsar, prominent farmer leader Mangal Singh (50), associated with the Punjab Kot Budha Farmers’ Committee, lost his life while helping flood-affected residents.
According to reports, Singh was returning after providing aid and relief to families impacted by the ongoing floods when the fatal incident occurred. Local police and rescue teams quickly reached the spot, assessed the situation, and transported his body to the hospital for further procedures.
The unfortunate death of Singh has left the local community and fellow farmers in shock. Residents and members of the farming community expressed deep grief and paid tribute to Singh, recognizing his dedication and selfless service towards flood victims during this difficult time.
