Gurugram (Haryana), September 5, 2025 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini on Friday directed officials to act promptly on public complaints and ensure resolution with honesty and sensitivity. He stressed that the state government is committed to Antyodaya principles, prioritizing the needs of the common citizen and focusing on grassroots solutions.
Saini was chairing a meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Gurugram, where 18 complaints were presented. Of these, 14 were resolved immediately, while four will be taken up in the next meeting.
During the session, residents of Sector-85 Oris Society raised concerns about a 24-meter-wide road to the Dwarka Expressway being blocked by landowners. Taking serious note, the Chief Minister instructed officials from the Town and Country Planning Department and the GMDA to restore access without delay.
Other long-pending grievances were also addressed. A Devat Colony resident expressed gratitude after the Municipal Corporation removed a 16-year-old encroachment, while Surya Vihar residents thanked authorities for replacing hazardous, decades-old power conductors and poles.
Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh, MLAs Bimla Chaudhary, Tejpal Tanwar, and Mukesh Sharma were present along with Manesar Mayor Dr. Indrajit Yadav, GMDA officials, and senior district officers.
