Chandigarh, September 4, 2025— Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has vowed to stay by the side of Punjab’s flood victims long after the waters recede, promising support that goes beyond immediate relief.
In an emotional Facebook video, Dosanjh spoke in Hindi so that “everyone could understand the pain of Punjab.” He described the grim reality in flood-hit areas ruined crops, dead cattle, damaged houses, displaced families, and lost lives. “Punjab zakhmi hai, Haara nhi hai,” he said with determination.
The singer-actor emphasized that his mission is not just about distributing food and rations. “Even after the floods end, I will help people get back on their feet,” he pledged.
Thanking NGOs, young volunteers, and the media for their tireless efforts, Dosanjh also revealed that he and his team have reached out to corporate houses, many of which have assured long-term assistance.
Ending on a message of resilience, he told people to hold on to hope. “This difficult time will pass, and good days will return to Punjab,” he said.
