‘Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025’ Sets Guinness World Record with Over 3.5 Crore Registrations

Dehradun, August 5 — Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the flagship student outreach programme, Pariksha Pe Charcha 2025, entered the Guinness World Records for the highest number of participant registrations in a single month.

Calling the feat a “matter of pride for the entire nation,” Dhami said the recognition reflects India’s pioneering efforts to promote stress-free education. In a post on X, he extended his “heartiest congratulations” to PM Modi, adding that the achievement places India’s education system on the global stage and highlights the country’s contribution to student well-being.

The record was conferred by Guinness World Records for the “Most people registered on a Citizen Engagement Platform in one month,” with over 3.53 crore valid entries on the MyGov portal. The eighth edition of the programme received massive participation from students, teachers, and parents, affirming its growing popularity and positive impact.

Launched in 2018, Pariksha Pe Charcha is an annual event where Prime Minister Modi interacts directly with students across India and abroad. The aim is to turn exam-related stress into motivation, encouraging students to approach tests with confidence, optimism, and clarity.

The Guinness World Record certificate was officially handed over at a ceremony in New Delhi. The event was attended by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union IT and I&B Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, MoS Electronics & IT Jitin Prasada, Education Secretary Sanjay Kumar, MyGov CEO Nand Kumarum, and senior officials from the Ministries of Education and IT.

The achievement was validated by Guinness World Records adjudicator Rishi Nath, adding global credibility to the initiative’s outreach and success.
