Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini Extends Birthday Wishes to Governor Bandaru Dattatreya

Governor and CM Plant Trees under ‘One Tree for Mother’ Campaign at Raj Bhavan

Chandigarh, June 12 – Haryana Chief Minister Shri Nayab Singh Saini met with Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatreya today at the Raj Bhavan and extended heartfelt birthday wishes. The Chief Minister wished the Governor a long and healthy life.

On this occasion, the Governor and the Chief Minister participated in the ‘One Tree for Mother’ campaign and planted saplings within the Raj Bhavan premises. The Governor planted a sapling of the ‘Totapari’ variety of mango, while the Chief Minister planted a sapling of the ‘Chausa’ variety. Through this initiative, they aimed to spread awareness about environmental conservation and social responsibility.

The Governor stated that the monsoon season is about to begin in the state and urged every citizen to plant at least one tree and ensure its care and protection. He emphasized that safeguarding the environment is a collective responsibility.

Among those present were Governor’s Secretary Atul Dwivedi, ADC Manpreet Singh, CM’s Private Secretary Ravi Kant, Raj Bhavan’s Comptroller of Household Jagan Bains, and other officials and staff of the Raj Bhavan.
