Indore (National Times): In a dramatic and emotional address to the media at the residence of the late Raja Raghuvanshi, the brother of Sonam Raghuvanshi, Govind Raghuvanshi, made a stunning statement, expressing firm belief in his sister’s involvement in Raja’s alleged murder.
Standing alongside members of the Raghuvanshi family, Govind said, “According to the evidence found so far, I am 100% sure that Sonam has committed this murder. All the accused in this case are connected to Raj Kushwaha. If Sonam is guilty, she should be hanged.”
The murder of Raja Raghuvanshi has gripped Indore in recent days, with shocking twists emerging around those allegedly involved. Sonam Raghuvanshi, who was previously seen as a respected member of her community, has now come under scrutiny after investigators reportedly linked her to the conspiracy.
Govind further revealed strained ties within the family, stating, “We have broken all relations with Sonam. There has been no contact with her, and she hasn’t shown any remorse. We apologise to Raja’s family for the pain this has caused.”
Adding to the intrigue, Govind noted that Raj Kushwaha, who has also been named in the case, used to call Sonam “Didi” (sister), and for the past three years, she had been tying a rakhi to him, a traditional symbol of sibling bond in India.
Despite the emotional toll, Govind stood firm: “We will fight for justice on behalf of Raja. Blood ties cannot blind us to what is right.”
The investigation continues as local authorities sift through evidence and statements, while the community watches with bated breath.
