Chandigarh, March 24, 2025: Local Government Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh has called on residents across all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the state to actively take part in Swachhta Survekshan-2025. He emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, efforts are being made to transform cities into clean and green hubs, essential for realizing the dream of a vibrant Punjab. He urged ULBs to make this cleanliness survey a people’s movement.
Dr. Ravjot Singh stressed that citizen feedback plays a crucial role in shaping cleaner cities. By participating, residents help improve their city’s ranking in the survey while contributing to a healthier and more sustainable environment. Swachhta Survekshan, an annual initiative under the Swachh Bharat Mission, evaluates sanitation and cleanliness standards in cities across India.
Municipal Commissioners and Executive Officers also encouraged citizens to share their views on waste management, public hygiene, and sanitation services. They assured that feedback will drive real-time improvements, ensuring urban spaces remain clean and sustainable.
Participating in the survey is simple. Residents can register via their mobile number on the official Swachhta Survey portal or scan a QR code to submit their responses in Punjabi, Hindi, or English. The process takes only a few minutes but has a lasting impact on city sanitation services.
For queries or assistance, residents can contact their respective Urban Local Body (ULB).
