Farmers Can Apply for Crop Damage Compensation on the Portal, Compensation Portal Opened: CM Nayab Singh Saini

Chandigarh, March 3 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that 615 villages across the state have suffered crop damage due to recent hailstorms and heavy rainfall. To assist affected farmers, the government has opened the compensation portal, and farmers have been notified via SMS. They can now register their losses on the portal to receive compensation as soon as possible.

Government’s Swift Action on Crop Losses

The chief minister shared this update during a pre-budget consultation with MPs and MLAs in Panchkula. He emphasized that all district commissioners were directed to assess and report crop damage in their respective areas. These reports have now been received, paving the way for timely financial assistance to farmers.

CM Saini reiterated the government’s commitment to supporting farmers and strengthening them economically. The initiative reflects Haryana’s pro-farmer approach, ensuring that those affected by natural calamities receive prompt relief.
