Haryana (National Times): Just a day after the Class 12 English paper leak in Haryana, the Class 10 Mathematics exam has also been compromised. Reports from Nuh indicate that the question paper went viral within 15 minutes of the exam beginning, raising serious concerns about security lapses in the board examinations.
Paper Leak Sparks Chaos Outside Exam Center
The Class 10 exam began at 12:30 PM, but shortly after, images of the mathematics question paper surfaced online. The leak reportedly originated from LDM Public School, Punhana, an official examination center.
Adding to the controversy, disturbing visuals have emerged showing relatives of students climbing walls and allegedly passing notes into the exam hall. As news of the leak spread, a large crowd of worried parents and locals gathered outside the school, leading to a chaotic situation.
Education Department on High Alert
This year, 2,93,395 students are appearing for the Haryana Class 10 board exams at 1,431 centers across the state. In an effort to curb cheating and malpractice, authorities had formed 219 flying squads for strict monitoring. However, despite these measures, the repeated leaks have raised serious questions about the effectiveness of the security arrangements.
Class 12 English Paper Leak Still Under Investigation
The Class 10 Math paper leak comes on the heels of the Class 12 English paper leak, which surfaced in Nuh, Punhana, and Sonipat just a day earlier. Following that incident, authorities canceled the exam at one center and made several arrests.
With back-to-back exam paper leaks, the Haryana School Education Board is now under intense scrutiny, facing growing pressure to strengthen examination security and prevent further incidents.
