Mumbai, January 13, 2025 – Monalisa, who gained fame after a viral video of her selling prayer beads at the Maha Kumbh, is now entering Bollywood. Director Sanoj Mishra has signed her for his upcoming film The Diary of Manipur and is currently training her in acting.
A recent video of Monalisa learning to read and write with Mishra had already created a buzz. Now, another video of her experiencing her first-ever flight has gone viral.

Monalisa flew from Indore to Bengaluru today, accompanied by Sanoj Mishra. This journey marks a significant moment as she transitions from her village slums to a luxurious 7-star hotel. Tonight, she will dine there before traveling to Kerala tomorrow for a jewelry event, where she will appear as a brand ambassador.

Co-producers include Sanjay Bhushan Patiala, Yameen Khan, and Javed Devariya Wale. The film will also mark the Bollywood debut of Amit Rao, the elder brother of Rajkummar Rao.
