Three Minor Girls of Same Family Reported Missing in Ludhiana

Gurpreet Singh :- Three minor girls belonging to the same family have reportedly gone missing from the Jamalpur area of Ludhiana, prompting a police investigation and search operation across multiple locations.

According to the complaint lodged by the mother of one of the girls, the three minors — identified as Mansi (16), Deepika (14) and Shalini (15) — left their homes on May 28 and could not be traced thereafter. Following the complaint, the Jamalpur police registered a case against a youth from Uttar Pradesh.

The case took a significant turn when Mansi reportedly contacted her mother over the phone and informed her that she was in Ambala, Haryana. During the conversation, she alleged that a youth identified as Karan, a resident of Sitapur district in Uttar Pradesh, had persuaded her to leave home with him. She also informed her mother that the other two girls were travelling by train to their native village.

Acting on the information provided by the family, the police initiated legal proceedings and intensified efforts to trace the missing girls. Given the age of the minors and the sensitivity of the case, special teams have been deployed to locate them and verify the circumstances surrounding their disappearance.

Investigating officers said raids were being conducted at various locations in Ambala and Uttar Pradesh to trace the accused and ensure the safe recovery of the girls. Further investigation is underway.
