Dehradun (Rajeev Sharma): Persistent rainfall across parts of Uttarakhand has caused the Tamsa River to swell, leading to a sharp increase in the water flow through the historic Tapkeshwar Mahadev Temple in Dehradun. The situation developed after continuous rain overnight, following a heavy rainfall alert issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD). With the river flowing at a much higher level than usual, officials have stepped up monitoring around the temple and nearby vulnerable locations.
