Chandigarh, March 19 – Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has written a letter to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, urging him to clear the outstanding dues of around ₹34 crore owed to Haryana’s sugarcane farmers by a sugar mill in Uttarakhand. Saini mentioned that during meetings with various farmer organizations, it was brought to his attention that Ikbalpur Sugar Mill in Uttarakhand has not paid Haryana farmers’ dues from the 2017-18 season.
