National Times Bureau :- Punjab and Chandigarh continue to reel under an intense cold wave and dense fog, with the situation expected to persist until January 7, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Nights are likely to turn even colder in the coming days. The weather department has issued an Orange Alert for fog and cold wave conditions till Friday, followed by a Yellow Alert for the subsequent period.
