The decision was announced through an official order issued by the Education Department. As per the notification, all government, private-aided and recognised primary schools in Punjab will function from 8.30 am to 2.30 pm from March 1 till March 31. For middle, high and senior secondary schools, the revised timing will be from 8.30 am to 2.50 pm during the same period.
