Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): Pursuant to the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Government of Punjab has decided to absorb 2,437 apprentice trainees as Assistant Linemen (ALMs) in Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL). The announcement was made today by Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema while addressing a press conference at Punjab Bhawan. The decision addresses a long-standing demand of apprentice trainees and reflects the Bhagwant Mann Government’s commitment to employment generation and youth welfare.
