New Delhi (Gurpreet Singh): In a pioneering initiative combining modern technology with public service, the Department of Posts on Friday executed its first-ever delivery of the National Flag using a drone from Mandi to Rehardhar in Himachal Pradesh. The milestone event was inaugurated virtually on the eve of Independence Day by Union Minister of Communications and Development of North Eastern Region, Jyotiraditya Scindia. The drone took flight from the Mandi Head Post Office and successfully landed at the remote Rehardhar Branch Post Office, where postal officials received the parcel containing the Tiranga before formally presenting it to an army veteran.…
