New Delhi (Rajeev Sharma): Shiva temples in different parts of India saw a surge in devotional activity as worshippers marked Nag Panchami along with the third Monday of Sawan. Devotees reached temples from the early hours to participate in prayers and seek blessings. The combination of the two auspicious occasions added to the religious fervour, with special worship ceremonies being held at several temples.
