Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab dealt a major setback for Congress in Majitha. On Saturday, several senior Congress leaders and grassroots workers left the traditional party and joined AAP. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann formally inducted all the leaders into AAP and welcomed them into the party. Majitha constituency in-charge Talbir Singh Gill was also present on the occasion. Prominent leaders who joined AAP from Congress include Parmjeet Singh Pamma, Palwinder Singh Pali, Jagdeep Singh Goga, Apramdeep Singh Appu and Amandeep Singh.
