Chandigarh (Gurpreet Singh): The Punjab Cabinet led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Saturday approved three key policies for ensuring smooth and hassle-free procurement and movement of paddy during the ensuing Kharif Marketing Season 2026-27, besides approving amendments in the Punjab Public Service Commission (Group ‘A’) Service Regulations, 2012, revival of 33 posts at the Sub-Divisional Hospital, Chamkaur Sahib, creation of 138 new healthcare posts and filling up of 80 vacant posts. Chandigarh, September 24 — The Haryana government has rolled out procurement of Kharif pulses and oilseeds for the 2025-26 marketing season across more than 100 mandis. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi reviewed the procurement arrangements and production status on Monday, stressing that farmers must not face any inconvenience during the process.According to the schedule, procurement of moong will continue from September 23 to November 15 across 38 mandis.
