Edmonton ( Rajeev Sharma):— Alberta’s government has announced a major leadership transition at the Police Review Commission following the appointment of interim CEO Michael Ewenson to the Alberta Court of Justice. Ewenson, who helped establish and guide the commission during its critical launch phase, will now move to the bench after a long career in criminal justice and public service. “On behalf of the Government of Alberta, I want to thank Michael Ewenson for his leadership during a foundational period for the Police Review Commission,” said Mike Ellis. “His experience and dedication helped guide the organization through its early development.”…
