Haryana Clears Gypsum Procurement for 1 Million Acres of Land Reclamation, Approves Multi-Crore Infrastructure Projects

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh)— The Haryana government has approved the procurement of 25,000 tonnes of gypsum valued at approximately 15.63 crore rupees to facilitate soil reclamation across 10 lakh acres of agricultural land. Presiding over a High Powered Purchase Committee meeting in Chandigarh on Tuesday, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini stated that high-quality gypsum will be supplied to farmers at a 50 per cent subsidy through the Haryana Land Reclamation and Development Corporation to rapidly restore soil fertility.
