Dehradun, October 22, 2025: On the occasion of Govardhan Puja, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami offered prayers to Gau Mata at the cowshed within his official residence, extending wishes of prosperity, harmony, and well-being to the people of the state. He highlighted the festival’s deep cultural, spiritual, and ecological significance.The Chief Minister emphasized that in Sanatan Dharma, the cow is both sacred and central to the agrarian economy. “Gau Mata represents both faith and livelihood.
