Haryana Discoms Achieve Major Milestone by Securing Eighty-Eight Per Cent of Annual EV Charging Network Target

Chandigarh (Balwinder Singh) — Power distribution companies (Discoms) in Haryana have achieved a major infrastructure milestone in their ongoing mission to accelerate electric vehicle (EV) adoption across the state. Operating under the state government's comprehensive e-mobility strategy and clean energy directives, the Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) and Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) have rapidly expanded the regional public charging network. Chandigarh, December 23: The Haryana Right to Service Commission has taken strict cognisance of negligence, arbitrariness and violation of government instructions by officials of the Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (DHBVN) in a case related to the issuance of a new electricity connection.
